Genres: Blues / Blues
RockLabel: Skunk Eye Records, GoGirls Elite/GoGirlsMusic.com
Management: Marie Angell
The Snake Charmers deliver strong story-based songwriting with a feminine perspective, sultry vocals, and their own brand of blues stylings where sometimes less is more.
"Been Gone Too Long" is a 10-song album of original contemporary blues, including "Hoochie Mama (I Wanna Be a)," "Ain't Nothin' But the Blues," "Big Big Love," and, of course, "Been Gone Too Long."
We take Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown's words to heart when he said he played "American Music." We do, too, writing and producing our own albums with a variety of songs within the blues/blues rock genre.
The Snake Charmers are a 4 member contemporary blues band featuring Marie Angell (vocals/keyboards), Will Blumentritt (bass), Larry Meeker (guitar) and Eric Blumentritt (drums). They are 2009 and 2010 Houston Press Music Award nominees and their music is played on radio stations worldwide. All lyrics and music written by Marie Angell.
Genres: Blues / Classic Rock / CountryLabel: Titty Bingo, Inc.
The band whose name you can't say on radio, Titty Bingo - Dahr Jamail, Freddy Fletcher, Larry Fulcher, Derek O’Brien, Bobbie Nelson, and Willie Nelson (when he feels like it) - are rooted in the roadhouse of outlaw country, classic hard rock, and Texas electric blues. Formed 20+ years ago, the band has performed at Farm Aid, Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnics, the House of Blues, and various honky tonks, bars, and dives.
